business. He expected to stay for Christmas and leave. What he didn't
expect was to meet the new school teacher Ella Conti.
Ella is the new teacher of the tiny primary school. She finds
herself embraced by the CWB who ensure she becomes part of the
community. The last thing she wanted was to meet a handsome baker.
John left Glenmere to chase his dreams. He returned once he
realised they could happen in Glenmere. What he didn't consider
was that his childhood love Tess would also return.
Tess worked very hard to achieve the position of community nurse.

saw a future with Kelly, a local dental assistant. He wanted to give her the world but wound up accidentally crushing her dreams. Now he has to find a way to get his life back.
Kelly is the dental assistant to the only dentist in town.
She was always a girl who believed in romance, the magic of love
and Ben. What she hadn't considered was that Ben didn't understand the dream. Now, she has to decide if she will stay in Glenmere or leave to find those dreams again.
Myrna is a widow and Tousle, her little chocolate poodle, is her
lifeline to the world. She is a member of the CWB. She works with Tess as a teaching assistant at
Glenmere Primary School.
Mick is the handyman of Glenmere. Accident prone but
forever cheerful, he is always available to help at any time.
Sandra leads the Country Women's Board of Glenmere.
The CWB provides for all things community in Glenmere, including
organising the refurbishment of the railway station.
Joan is another member of CWB. She is ex-navy and helps sort
the Hooligans when they get out of hand. She is very kind and loves
to matchmake. She is always asking young people about their relationships.
Arthur owns Geretta Pharmacy in town. He and his son Tom and his
husband Stuart are the local pharmacists.
Elroy owns the newsagency in Glenmere. He is the father of
Tess and loves to gossip about everything. He often sits on
the gossip stool in the bakery to discuss local affairs.
